Children's Ministry

Under the current COVID Level 1 all our services are running. Please sanitise/handwash as you arrive and don’t come if you are unwell. Use the QR code inside the church and the education block to record attendance.

Coming to know Jesus can make such a difference in growing up and in our well-being and serving others in community. We welcome both our new and old families and look forward to getting to know you better. We recognise that children can know and respond to God who does not expect too little or too much from them. Not only can children understand, but also we can learn from them . So in our programme we value exploration and discovery, fun, feelings and creativity and use these approaches to inspire children to meet God and Jesus through the Bible.

We have a Kids Friendly approach in our children's ministry whereby we have a secure setting in which we can have fun, play games, action songs, stories, crafting and meet new friends. Prizes and food to make and eat are also part of the fun.

Power Hour (Sunday School) starts with a short all-age worship time in church with a minister's assistant chosen each week from the group of children, then we go through to the church hall where we gather. All is timed so that we can join with our families for morning tea together. Each term we also have a fun family event.

The children enjoyed putting on this play for the congregation: The Cleikum Ceremony.
