Beanies - 2016

July 2016
- Hutt Valley

Thanks to our small but dedicated group of knitters, Randwick School now has enough slippers and beanies for the winter. As you can see, the children very much appreciate the knitting done by our enthusiast group.
Any slippers and beanies found to be too large for school feet and heads, have gone to places where people with bigger feet and heads need a little extra warmth, such as to rest homes.
New knitters are always welcome to join us in this outreach. Simple patterns are available for singlets (jerseys), slippers and beanies. Also, we have at the church a (very) large stock both of acrylic and pure-wool yarn. Please just ask if you need any.
Again, many many thanks to you enthusiastic knitters, the articles you make are very much appreciated.
